Progressive electronic/rock outfit Sensations’ Fix was quite busy during the mid-70s and RVNG Intl. has revealed plans to put out a compilation of new mixes and previously unreleased material from that period. Music Is Painting In The Air (artwork to the left) drops on September 25th as a 2-CD/2-LP package and one of its cuts, ‘Dark Side Of Religion’, can be heard below.

I’ve never been too keen on this whole movement due to how frequently the sounds come off as dated, but this seems fuller-bodied and more resonant than Sensations’ Fix past work. Good stuff.
